What is SecretLink?
SecretLink is an 18+ dating and community platform built around discretion. You can sign up with an anonymous profile, one-to-one private messaging is end-to-end encrypted, and you decide what you share about yourself.
When does the site launch?
SecretLink launches in 2026 at scrtlnk.com. We have not announced an exact date yet — if you would like to be among the first to know, write to info@scrtlnk.com and we will let you know when it goes live.
Is what I do really anonymous?
Signing up requires no real name, and an email address is optional too. One-to-one private messages travel end-to-end encrypted, stories are deleted after 24 hours, and messages can be given a lifetime between 5 seconds and 24 hours. There are no screenshot notifications. Group conversations and public content (posts, stories, listings) are not end-to-end encrypted — those are moderated.
What security features will there be?
Two-factor login (2FA), an 18+ age gate and a mandatory age declaration at sign-up, moderated content, and GDPR-compliant account deletion — you can permanently close your profile at any time with a single click. Deletion is immediate and final: the account, the profile, the images and the uploaded files are all deleted. Only data required by law is kept: security logs, billing history, and the other party's copies of the conversations you took part in (without identifying you).
Will the site cost money?
The core features will be free. There will also be an optional premium subscription that adds extra features — an extended gallery and VIP rooms, for example. The subscription can be cancelled at any time, and we will publish the details before launch.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
The encryption key for private messages is created on your side, in your browser, and stays there — which is exactly why we cannot read your messages. The trade-off is that if you clear your browser's stored data or sign in from another device, previously encrypted messages can no longer be decrypted. Your account and your profile remain untouched.
What devices will it work on?
Any modern browser, on phone and computer alike. The site can also be installed as an app (PWA), with no separate download.
